RAKS PRO is the first Belgian Professional Oriental Dance Ensemble, bringing together a group of dedicated, enthusiastic and award-winning professional performers available for performances and workshops at bellydance festivals and corporate events in Belgium & internationally.

Our repertoire ranges from interpretations of the Egyptian classics and prop work, to modern pop, American cabaret, drumsolo's, folcloric tableaux, etc. From simple beauty to glamorous extravaganza. Our specialty are dynamic group numbers that showcase both the individual dancers' qualities and our unity as a group. Choreographic magic and amazing formations without loosing the true nature of oriental dance: poetry in motion.

RAKS PRO was founded in 2010 by Artemisia and Khalida. Together with guest choreopgraphers Queenie and Razia the company prepared for their first shows in Brussels, Leuven, Duisburg and Hannover, winning second price as a formation at the prestigious Bellydancer of the World Competition in Duisburg.
Current dancers include company director Artemisia, as well as Fédra, Luna, Sahra, Anadil, Liesbeth, Nasreen, and Naïn.
